Food for Friends

The nationally-recognized Food for Friends program is grabbing more attention, with a group from nearby London voicing interest in it. They’ll be in Woodstock at Operation Sharing in February to hear about the initiative.

The program has gone countywide in Oxford, with stores in Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Embro and Tavistock joining in.

Since October, the cards have been tremendously well received by people in need in Woodstock, where the program started with support from city grocery stores.

Thanks to all those who continue to support Operation Sharing’s Food for Friends program by donating quarters, as well as to the cashiers who ask for those quarters.
